Giving Back to Our Troops

As part of the Halloween celebration, Snodgrass-King has organized a buy back program that is destined to make a positive impact in Wilson County Schools and bring a smile to a service member’s face. Last year’s buy back was an enormous success totaling over 2000 pounds of candy we shipped overseas to our troops. This year, all eight Wilson County elementary schools return in an effort to give back to our troops and compete for the $1500 grand prize.

Your School Has a Chance To Win Big

For your school to win, save all of your unwanted Halloween candy and bring it to our Mt. Juliet office between 4:30pm-6:30pm. Your school will send home a Treats for Troops bag the week of Halloween. This will help you transfer all of your unwanted candy to the SnodgrassKing – Mt. Juliet office. Please note: In order for you candy to be counted, you must bring it to the Snodgrass-King – Mt. Juliet office during the date/time indicated above. Candy turned in at the school will not be counted.

Once all candy has been weighed, we will announce the winner for that night. Each school will win $250 up to $1500, all for just donating candy! Students will not receive individual cash for their candy; but, they will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win door prizes throughout the night. All money raised will go to the school. At the end of the week, the donated treats will be shipped overseas to our troops.

So come, show your school spirit and donate your candy! Jet’s Pizza will be provided for everyone in attendance! We hope you will join us in this effort to give back to our soldiers overseas while your school receives some hard earned candy cash!
